How to Improve Your Life in 10 days?

Technically we cannot improve our life in ten days. I see ridiculous articles on quick ways to improve your life and most give an unrealistic number of days. When you are so damaged and your life is totally off track in every area including your health, relationships, and finances it’s going to take more than a few days, weeks, or even months to see changes in your life. Quick fixes are not sustainable.

Can you improve your life in 10 days? No, but we can make simple changes, but the changes are not going to be the results were probably looking for. We can’t change our life drastically within ten days. because its unrealistic expectations.

So many businesses advertise misleading messages to consumers promising them life changing improvements which in the end leads to a lot of disappointments. Changes can be seen within ten days, but all our problems will not seize. As much as I wish this could happen it won’t. Even all the money in the world can’t fix all our issues because some issues don’t require money to fix them. The issues we develop over time did not come in one day. It was years of experiences that shaped us into the person that we are. The weight we gain, the debt we accumulated over time, insecurities, the broken hearts. These are some of the things that make who we are, and they do affect us in some form of way.

If we want sustainable changes in life, we must take the necessary steps to get there. We don’t have to make major changes we only need to make small steps every day that lead in the right direction. Sometimes when we try to do extreme changes that we are not mentally prepared for we get discouraged.

When I talk to people about nutrition and fitness, they always share with me extreme diets and fitness plans. I am amazed every time and I wonder who’s giving them these plans? Most of them cannot complete the plan and usually give up within a month because quite frankly it’s too hard. If you’re training for a fitness show than, go extreme but if you’re trying to live a healthy life then you can’t do extreme diets and fitness plans. Learn to challenge yourself when you are ready but don’t discourage yourself in the process. You must gradually work your way up; we all must start at the bottom then move up. There’s no rush but most people operate as if they are in a race.

Improving your life is going to require you to do simple steps every day. Your life can improve in a day or even 10 days it’s really the attitude you have towards your life. So, what are some steps you can take to improve your life? First evaluate your life. Look at your life and ask yourself are you happy? If you are not happy, ask yourself why? Is it areas in your life that you are unhappy with? What areas of your life do you need to improve? Is it relationships, finances, career, or personal struggles? Only look at areas you are struggling in. Write them down and be honest with yourself.

Once you figured out where you need to improve then take one area and work on it. Once you improve in that area work on another area. You must be willing to focus on one area and build before you move on to another. Don’t overwhelm yourself trying to improve every area of your life, it’s time consuming and you are more likely to give up. Nothing is going to improve overnight so take your time and focus on one issue at hand.

Believe in yourself. This one I cannot stress enough. I must constantly practice this every day. If I don’t believe in myself no one will. When no one believes in me I still must have confidence in my abilities because there are going to be times when people aren’t going to believe in me. There’s going to be times when we don’t have support systems, so you must believe in your capabilities. You can make the changes but if you don’t believe you can it will never happen.

Improving your life is an everyday commitment to yourself. You must be willing to constantly evaluate your life and look for ways to improve it. Even when you reach that goal and you feel like you have your life figured out keep practicing these techniques. These are what’s going to keep you on the right path. When I don’t make time to feed my body with positive words from podcast or readings, I am a different person. When I don’t take time to focus on myself first, I get off track. I find myself struggling to get through the day. So, constantly focus on your life and work on yourself daily. There’s always room to improve.

So, remember today you can make changes to your life but its going to take a constant dedication to yourself. You must be willing to make small changes everyday in your life that will propel you forward in achieving the feeling of success. Success is that feeling when every area in your life is together and though you might not be the richest person in the world you now have your sense of self-worth.
