Easy Vegan Tofu Fried Rice



Growing up my favorite middle school treat was fried rice. Asian cuisine is one of my favorite style of meals to cook. There are so many traditional Asian recipes that I can easily veganize and it makes an easy alternative when preparing meals for dinner. This easy vegan tofu fried rice includes a delicious yum yum sauce that tastes just like the original without the animal products. The recipe prep and cook time together is less than 30 minutes. This is a beginner and kid friendly dish.




I tried the easy vegan tofu fried rice with and without the yum yum sauce and it works out great no matter how you prepare it. Easy Vegan Tofu Fried Rice

4-6 Servings

4 Tbsp. Vegan Butter

2 Cups Wholefoods 365 Organic Frozen Peas & Carrots no salt added

3 Green onions, slice thinly

1 Yellow Onion, diced

4 Cups Cooked Rice

2 Cloves Garlic, minced

Sauce

1/4 Cup Tamari

1 tbsp. Sesame oil

1 tsp Salt

Crispy Tofu

1 block of super firm tofu

1/4 Cup Corn Starch

Vegan Yum Yum Sauce

1 tsp Garlic powder

1 tbsp. Vegan Friendly Ketchup

1 Cup Follow Your Heart Vegenaise Original

1 tbsp. Mirin

1/2 tsp Paprika

1.5 tsp Rice vinegar
